We live in unprecedented times. No one can disagree. All areas of our lives have been affected one way or another by the world events. The losses we have endured and continue to do so have brought us face to face with our own fears and vulnerabilities. Health professionals in particular are bearing the brunt of the pressure. Witnessing loss of life and disparity in care, inability to perform their usual duties, not to mention the weight of long hours for some, and lost wages for others wreaks havoc on the psyche and physical bodies. Often times, they have not been given any chance to feel their own feelings of loss and have to keep the pace as if in a war zone.
I am happy to announce that I have created Healing the Healers Roundtable, a forum on Zoom open to all healers, from Western and Eastern philosophy, to gather and talk about fears, hopes, death and dying.
We start with a meditation, followed by sharing and discussion.
Please join me on the free introductory forum on Saturday August 1, 2020 at 10:30am-12:00 pm PST.
I intend for the forum to take place every other week, and open to ideas of expansion as we proceed. The subsequent sessions will be by donation.
Looking forward to meeting you all.
